Welcome!

The American Public Works Association exists to develop and support the people, agencies, and organizations that plan, build, maintain, and improve our communities. Working together, APWA and its membership contribute to a higher and sustainable quality of life.

The Ventura County Chapter was originally part of the Southern California Chapter established in 1951. A Ventura County Branch was established in 1982, and then the Board of Directors approved a petition to create a new Ventura County Chapter in 1995. The chapter now has well over 300 members!

The Chapter meets the second Thursday of each month for lunch starting at 11:30 a.m. at the Spanish Hills Club in Camarillo. The luncheon programs feature relevant current programs, lunch and an opportunity for networking in a pleasant atmosphere.

The Ventura County Chapter works in concert with the National APWA to locally promote professional excellence and awareness of public works impacts in our community.
